Question 1

How does Booktether handle incoming inquiries?

Accepted Answer

Booktether captures each incoming inquiry, gathers useful service, contact, and timing details, and keeps the next step visible to the team. The existing service inquiry flow gives a business one clear place to review what a customer needs and decide how to respond.

Question 2

What response can a customer expect?

Accepted Answer

The goal is a prompt, practical first response and a clear follow-up workflow when more detail is needed. Booktether does not promise a numeric response SLA, a guaranteed arrival time, a guaranteed price, or guaranteed availability; the business still confirms what it can offer.

Question 3

How do AI-assisted replies work?

Accepted Answer

AI can prepare a reply draft using approved business guidance and the inquiry details. The draft is editable, and a human must review it and explicitly send it. Booktether helps businesses respond without replacing their judgment, and it does not autonomously decide what to promise or send messages on its own.

Question 4

How does consent-aware communication work?

Accepted Answer

Consent controls customer-facing follow-up. Booktether respects whether a customer agreed to be contacted, and follow-up is not sent when consent is absent. The business remains responsible for deciding what to communicate and for keeping that communication appropriate to the customer’s request.

Question 5

Which home-service categories does Booktether support?

Accepted Answer

Booktether is built for home-service teams including Plumbing, HVAC, Roofing, and Electrical businesses. These are the four service categories available in the current inquiry and onboarding flows.

Question 6

What does onboarding look like?

Accepted Answer

Onboarding starts with the existing /request-service intake. A business shares its trade, team or workflow gap, current tools, and contact details so the next step can be shaped around how the team actually works. No special database setup or second capture form is required to begin the conversation.
